contact order

hi, just got my n80 the other day to replace my 6630

one thing i have noticed though is on my old phone if i wanted to send a message to someone, the list of contacts would list in alphabetical order, 1st name, then i could press T and all the names beginning with T would come up,

now its different, on the n80 its alphabetical 1st name in the list but click T the surnames come up 1st,
is there a way round this,

ive tried chaging the setting "firstnm.lastnm" but that didnt do anything

When I got my N80, I posted the same question a while ago.
I was told that there is no contact applications out there at the moment that change the style of search.

You could always the full name of the contact in the surname field to see if that works. I would try it myself but have far too many contacts to do this.
