i hav connected my phone 2 my wifi internet at home and set up the home netw. tht is in the connectivity menu to use it. but i am unable to see my phone or anything about it on my pc.
what can i actually do with the home netw. (home network) software on my phone, with or without extra software on my pc?

Nope, Home Networking is with the N80 is not about IP passthrough, but about UPnP (Universal Plug & Play): http://www.upnp.org/ + http://www.dlna.org
