N70 can't sync to computer?

new users of the N70 and having a little trouble. I installed the suite software and was able to sync upon installation but today when I tried to sync the phone on my work computer it won't and now it won't with my home computer as well. Anyone have any idea? I have the latest version firmware. Thanks!

Try to reinstall the pc suite and repeat the process. If this does'nt works try using bluetooth connection it doesn't creates lots of ados.

Before do a new installation, remove the actual installation, use a regclean program, and clean all entries related with Nokia PCSuite. Reboot the PC. Install again PCSuite. Should work!

I had to go through similar install/deinstall/registry clean process to get synchronisation working properly - understand that this is 'normal' with XP SP2 and Belkin BT adapter!

However, could you check if you go into CONNECTIVITY / SYNC / PCSUITE / SYNCHRONISE on the N70, does yours come up 'sync cancelled' (like mine)? In the manual, it suggests that the synchronisation should be initiated from the PC (not the phone) but I'm not sure if this should work.

I had the same prob, try plugging the cable in to the phone but have the phone switched off. Open the PC Suite and then when asked to connect the cable - turn the phone on. This works for me.

Not sure that this is the same problem - mine connects automatically whenever in range (using bluetooth - cable also works) or if I synchronise from PCSuite on the PC.

Only thing that comes up with 'sync cancelled' is if I try to synch from the N70 itself and I don't know if this is supposed to work.

Hopefully, someone with similar setup will test - just want to be sure all working properly to forget about my BT and PCSuite installs! 😊
