!!!HELP!!! "Memory Full"

hi😊
When I turn on my N-gage QD it comes up with the message "Memory Full" and doesn't even let me go to the main menu, it just stops there.
Im guessing this means the phone's memory as I have already emptied my mmc card.
I rang up a service centre and they quoted me for $100!😮
It must be simpler than that (service centers charge stupid amounts anyway!)
Plz help me:con?
What can I do???

I read somewhere, that N-Gage, and all first generation of symbian phones, don�t have a protection for "full memory", so things like yours, can happens. Try a hard format: Green Key + * + 3 + Power On. If it works, You lose everything, but saves $100!
