Very odd E70 email problem

I have come across an 'interesting' problem trying to configure an E70 to access our work email server. I'll describe the setup first:

Work mail server, at end of 2 DSL lines and accessible via static IP address on either line. Supports POP3, IMAP and SMTP

Phone 1. Nokia 6630. Orange. Can access server with no problems via either IP address, from both built in mail client and Profimail. Can also send using SMTP via work server

Phone 2. Nokia E70. Vodafone. Cannot connect to work server for POP or IMAP via either IP address, connection times out. However, can connect to work SMTP server correctly and send, so DNS is OK. Tried telnetting from phone to correct ports for POP/IMAP and connection times out. However, phone can access POP/IMAP on another server perfectly well.

Am sure it isn't the office firewall, as the logs don't even seem to detect any attempt to connect to the servers. It's almost as if the packets are going missing within the Vodafone network, but only when accessing my server. This sounds pretty unlikely to me!

Anybody got any suggestions? I can set up a test account on the email server if anybody with an E70 could test it for me please?

Andy.

andy,
I had the same problem.
I just update the firmaware (from nokia web site) but with no results.
Please if you find some solution let me know
