Do a search in this forum and you will find a thread that explains how to dismantle the N80, good for if you need to clean it,

There are products on the market that will clean the scratches, very very fine abrasive cleaner (some car body repair shops have them when they have to remove scratches from windows), but use at your own risk.

I decided that if my screen gets that badly scratched then I would just buy another body for the N80, they are really quite cheap.
