Hi guys,
Does anyone know if there is a software prog that will allow me to open a CDB file (created by the 9500) on a W2K SP4 platform. The phone is now US and I need to access the Contacts database urgently, I have transferred it to the PC already.
I did a search and checked the FAQ sections but could not find an answer.
Thanks in anticipation.
Bazz
I'm not sure, but i think you can do it using the 9500 emulator.
This is supplied with the Carbide and C++ Development kits
Thanks for the reply Gotan, unfortunately I don't have access to any development software.
I was hoping to learn of a commercial application that would simply allow me to extract the data from the CDB file to a text file in a (human) readable form or possibly import it into Excel.
Thanks for your help though.
The development tools are freely available to download from the forum nokia website.

You will have to register to download, but thats all you should need to do, other than install an SDK.
