I am worried because the past few days a lot of people are advertising their site and members of this community (old ones too) are showing their real faces! They just cant understand that talking about warez is bad enough for the community! Any suggestions what we could do? I envy you 9210 mods, you dont have to put up with this shit!

I'm totally agree with you. WHat we can do now is to be more attentive to all issues to all users.
The only thing we can also report to admin if we find problem like these
I've been buys this weekend (mainly looking after the house mate who broke his wrist) and some other stuff. Been a bit depressing here actually! Yes I agree there's been a lot going on warez wise. I'd like to thanks the mods for their quick action in removing such stuff. I hope everyone is clear on the position now. You can always refer people to the rules! 😊
I did think leaving diiscussion about warez woudl be OK (with the links or attachements removed) because I am a believer in free speech. I'm not so sure now. If any of you suffer any abuse problems do let me know. As far as I'm concerned this is ground for immediate banning.
I have been contacted by several companies asking if I can tell them when / if I come across warez. I said I would, if you feel you want to do the same let me know and I'll set up a specific adress to send reports too.

I am ware of the recent issues about warez appl. I think we must be on the total alert ... stay wake at all times to prevent things happen. Perhaps we can block all URL links? disable PM? perhaps not disable PM but to enable all MOD to scan for url links or some control texts of "warez", "crack", "serial", etc...
Worst come to wrost.. we banned user for repeat cases!
This calls for drastic measures!
Disabling all URL links would be a bummer, that way we could'nt even share good stuff between each other, but even so, people could just write down the link in a easy way, like allaboutsymbian.com (or dot com)
