Charging N80 with CK-7W / CA-27 Cable

Hello,

I'm distressed (to say the least) to find that the pop port connector on the CA-27 cable with my CK-7W does not charge my new N80. Has anyone else tried this? Not sure if there is a fault with my phone or what...

Thanks if anyone knows.

The problem was just fluff in the phone pop port! If anyone else wanted to know - Yes the CK-7W will charge an N80 😊

Mental note to self: when in doubt, always check for fluff. 😊

is thus on about using an older nokia charger with that stupid little attachment that came in the n80 box??? cus mine doesnt charge :S

Yes I came across this I have a number of chargers, the NOKIA ACP-7X does not work with the CA-44 adaptor, but the NOKIA ACP-8X does. What is worse is that I had a nokia charger hard wired into my glove box, to charge my previous Nokia 6600, but this is not compatible. Now that I read the details on the chargers the older one says it is 3.7V 355mA and the new one says 5.3V 500mA, guess although the 6600 could use either the N80 needs the extra umph!
