Hello People, just received my n80 and was wondering if there was a way to separate images and videos into folders. I find having images and videos togather very annoying, and i also wish to put images into sub catergories and not have them all togather! can anyone help??? love the phone but this is driving me crazy 😡

I've searched alot and I don't think there's a way to seperate audio and video files and u cannot put pictures in sub-categories and not have them all together...... even when the pictures are already in different files on the memory card, they still all show up as if placed in one file in the gallery........
IF you want to hide some files in your phone and not to have them appear in the gallery........... I found a way for doing this using a 3rd party app.
how do you do that?? because that could be useful 😉
There's a 3rd edition app. called Y-Browser (http://www.pushl.com/y_browser/).............. You can use it to create a New Folder in C:\System\data.........
Then Cut the images from the image file in C:\ or E:\ and paste to this New Folder and they will no longer appear in your gallery...

You can put videos and pictures into different albums and then use the "View Albums" option to see the files individually. It does mean another menu to navigate beneath the main Gallery but it does separate the pictures and videos nicely into any category you want.
