Inbox shortcut

Yo,

Anyone know how to set either one of the selection or one of the navigation keys to be a direct shortcut to my sms inbox? It doesn't seem to be an option in the list of shortcuts.

I notice i have a shortcut to my inbox under the 'Go to' option in 'My own' but ideally i'd prefer a one button shortcut.

Any ideas anyone?

Yes, that is a serious ommision by Nokia, I don't think there is an option, although it shouldn't be hard to add via a program. The closest I can get is to go to messaging. I have never understood why Nokia never show you who has sent you a text or MMS before opening it, seems like a security flaw to me.

Any suggestions with regards to a piece of software i could use to do this?

Seems quite an obvious function thay Nokia have failed to include, they must of spent weeks developing Wi Fi in their phones yet they neglect to add simple user functionality such as an inbox shortcut :frown:

you could just set one of your keys to 'messaging' which would mean the next select button you pressed would be viewing your inbox.... but I dont think theres a direct inbox sms option....

the other choice would be to have 'messaging' as a selection for your active standby.
