Pheonix 2004 setup problems

Hello all,
I have been trying for quite some time now to upgrade the firmware on my N80. I'm happy with the phone but the bug fixes would be great. Anyway on to my problem. I have read through and followed the first couple of steps from the http://nokia.dogtoe.com/ guide but I seem to have a problem that no one else has encountered. When I do the install for the pheonix 2004 software I have the crack open and I'm waiting for the dongle prompt but it never arrives. It asks me to reboot my machine and I do, then it prompts me for the dongle during the restart. Sounds weird I know, but If anyone could possible shed some light on to why it lets me do the whole install of pheonix without the dongle I would appreciate it.
P.S. The app wont work after install. I've also tried multiple reformats on extra HD's in efforts to get this to work but no luck yet.

I would not try to do the flashing yourself! Beware......I tried last week and ended up with a dead phone. Your better off sending it to get flashed by a service center or a shop that can do phone flashing.

I don't have the luxury of sending it in to a service center because its not under warranty. I bought it from what they call a grey market importer because its not available here in the U.S. that automatically voids the warranty though. So I paid $600 U.S. for a phone without a warranty.
To get back to the point though I redownloaded pheonix and it seems to have installed correctly this time around. Thanks anyway though.
