Lifeblog error: any idea how to fix it??

5 replies · 2,557 views · Started 31 July 2006

I downloaded lifeblog software for the N80 from Nokias site. It installs ok, but when I try to open it the error message is:
"Unable to find the correct layout filefor this screen"
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same thing happening.
Anyone had this problem and/or knows how to fix it?
Ive emailed Nokia support but they give me the brush off and I cant find any info on this error through google.
TIA

Hi,

Could you please tell which firmware is installed on your N80? You can get this information by dialing *#0000#. Is it a "vanilla" phone from Nokia or an operator version?

Could you please also give details of the SIS file you have downloaded? What is the size in bytes?

A quick test with my N80 indicated no problems with Lifeblog.

Hi there,
Its version:
V3.0618.0.2
23-04-2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (44.02)

I got it from a store through a phone plan with a phone company just the other day. The phone co doesnt appear to have installed any software on it though other than settings to use their wap.

Also the file I installed was Nokia_N80_lifeblog_APAC.SIS
I got it from the Nokia site under N80

Thank you SO much Ivan, I uninstalled the one I had on there and downloaded the one you gave me. It has worked fine.
Thanks so much for that.
