Hi.

I set up TomTom 5 with my 6680. Bought a Holox 32 channel BT receiver. Have you tried it outdoors yet? It may not work indoors too well. In the car, put it right on the dashboard to give it max exposure to the sky

In the TT main menu, go to Change Preferences, then go the menu which starts 'show gps status '. ( Make sure that your GPS device has been paired with your phone already ) and then click 'Configure'

TT gives a choice of two GPS receivers - TT receiver and 'other gps device ' . Choose the 'other' and then this takes you to a screen which shows bars and small spinning blue/yellow circle in the top right corner. When this is spinning, it means its trying to get a sat signal, wait a few mins and the bars should then turn from grey into blue/ black. If its not spinning, then this probably means your device is not paired up properly with your phone.

THe only thing I can suggest, it to re-boot the phone and see if this works.

Good luck.

his just confirms what nottmbantam says.

I am having the same problem....Try this.
Switch GPS on
Open TomTom
Go to Main Menu
Choose 5. Change Preferences.
Go to Preferences Page 4....Show GPS status..Select.
Configure.
Other Bluetooth GPS...Select.
Message...Bluetooth is currently switched off.Switch on ?
Choose..Yes.
BT GPS...Select.
"Please pair your Bluetooth GPS and your PDA/Smartphone. For details, consult the documentation for your GPS receiver and your PDA/Smartphone.
Choose...Continue..
Choose......Configure.....

That should do it...

Let me know.....It worked for me.
However It's a long winded exercise.
