Hello All,
Just thought I'd pop back and say hello from the PalmOS world (No I'm not regretting getting a Tungsten and longing to return).
Slightly more useful (maybe) though, I've been looking at development options for the PalmOS. It looks easier, but then you only have 10000 people that have already beat you to it. Anyway, I noticed that Metroworks offer a restricted version of there PalmOS software for free. That is fully functional, but max code size restricted Bigtime. No restriction on how long you can use it though, so provides an opportunity to really try it out.
Anyway, just thought you might want to know. I would have thought that if enough people expressed an interest, they might be willing to do something similar for the Symbian version. Would be nice to actually try it out before parting with so much money. Might even be able to persuade them to allow full development with a restriction of all code being freeware only unless you buy the software.
If they are willing to provide a "trial" version for one device, I can't see why they would not be willing to do the same for another.
