gps
Not unless the phone has a built-in GPS receiver (antenna and other related electronics needed to receive and process the signals from GPS satellites). Few phones have GPS built-in, so for most you need an external GPS receiver module (nowadays usually using wireless Bluetooth for the connectivity).
after finding out that theres built in GPS software on N80, i have purchased a bluetooth GPS device off ebay.
Cost 31.00 including delivery from hong kong... 😃

ok, thanks for the link, but is there any other way without having to buy software (taskman)? Does the voice command approach work?
thanks.

just as it says in the link!!!! -the voice command loads, positioning which is only the settings, you need taskman to load the gps navigator itself.
-try and see if you can download a trial version!
Use TaskSpy instead TaskMan. It does the same thing but is free.

Thanks, but the 3rd Ed. one is unsigned and won't work. Any idea how to do it? Or does any of the others work on the N80?
Thanks.
Handy Taskman and Best Taskman works on N80 and others S60v3, but both are not free software:frown:
