I have searched the forum for issues like this one, but did not find the exact answer for my problem. However, if it did appear, sorry for opening this topic again.
So, I have Windows2000 SP2, a Bluetooth USB dongle with Windigo's XTNDConnect Blue Manager, previously 1.0 then 2.0.
I can send and receive files both with the PC and the Phone.
However, I cannot use my Bluetooth Dial-up Connection. The phone number is *99#, and when I press Connect, the phone is trying to initiate the GPRS connection, but the 'G' sign appears for a very short time and then disappears. Meanwhile, the PC says 'Verifying user name and password', then 'Registering your computer on the network'.
Then after some seconds the PC returns an error message saying 'Error 734. The PPP link protocol was terminated.' I tried the same with data call, and the phone disconnects after a second, too.
Second issue is that I can't connect with mRouter, when I select the port for Bluetooth Serial, it says 'The port cannot be enabled. It may be in use by another application.' However, I do not use any other application except for Blue Manager.
What should I do? Dump the USB device and buy a normal one?
