Well my N80 died yesterday evening. Only had it 4 days. Came to use it and just got "connection error". Did all the usual restarts, search for networks etc and despite having a signal it wouldn't call or receive calls. Switched to GSM, made one call and then it wouldn't work again. The phone continued to show max signal bars. Went to bed with it fully charged and when I got up it was flat.
And guess what? Voda have no more stock. So I've had to buy a new one on Orange. Got a slightly better deal anyway... but I'll have to find somewhere to debrand it.
Just thought I'd share.
R.I.P. phone. Happens. For me, already a total of 4 different Nokia phones, had happens the same.
reflash it yourself using generic firmware, thats what i did as soon as i got it out the box 😊

I got this problem:
I just have installed Nokia Software Updater for N80 Internet Edition.
I followed the instructions, The firmware version of my N80 were going to change from 4.0632.0.38 to 5.0719.0.2.
Almost at the end of the process, I had to take out the battery, then disconnect the usb cable, after that put the battery, turn on the phone and connect the usb cable.....
But, at this time.... the phone didnt start up....
I am really worry because even though I tried to charge the battery, the phone doesnt turn on any led.... Is now a dead phone....
Please help me with some advices.....
