USB/InfraRed Connectivity

Has anyone else experienced connection disconnects for no reason other than inactivity while connected via USB cable or InfraRed?

I have only just got my phone and have the latest version of Nokia PC Suite installed. I downloaded this from Nokia's web site yesterday rather than use the software on the CD. My phone's firmware version is 3.0617.0.6 03-05-2006 RM-92 (85.01).

I have no problems connecting by either method initially but then if I leave it not doing anything for 5-10 mins the connection disconnects itself regardless of whether the connection is USB or InfraRed. However, it does seem that it is easier to imemdiately re-establish a connection with InfraRed than it is with the USB cable.

I cannot find any reference anywhere to there being an automatic disconnection after a certain period of inactivity.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That's the other thing I thought it might have been. Thanks for confirming.
