Notes from outside

Hi guys,

I couldn't find anything about this in the forum's archives.

I've been out for a while, did someone found a way to see notes (any type) from outside the Comm9500 (without opening it)?
I have a perfect new case for the 9500, but opening it 10-20 times a day,
I sometimes find myself writing notes on a piece of paper!
(I know I could get another case, bla... but my point is about being able to see notes on 9500 cover)

I hope I'm not dreaming...

Thanks anyway
Regards

I think you've been watching too much Ally McBeal 😉

There is a workaround, of course - open a new text message, write your note and 'Save Message' (to drafts) for later viewing. Bit long winded and there's no T9 (there is for 9300i people of course).

Tim

Tim,

thanks for the tip, but anyway last night after writing this post, I took a pause to think about it and finally found out about the message application Draft possibility. I use this way since then, and thanks for confirming that's the best it can do! I was just out of any 9500 actuality for a while.

Cheers,

The front of 9500 is not for Office propose! Is almost only to make call and read text messages... and camera!

Surely how one uses ones devices is down to the user to decide. If by utilising one of the features it bears to increase one's productivity doesn't that make sense? You shouldn't be limited by the apparent lack of functionality that a device might have but rather be creative in finding a 'workaround' in order to continue to benefit from it's other features, which presumably this chap is happy with

Make it work for you!
