I might need some help. I've read the forum and I've tried to do it as its writen.
My problem is, I've bought the phone over ebay... living in Denmark... and the phone is locked to Orange in the UK. Can anyone help me get the phone unlocked.
Ive tried to call the hotline but I need a orange number to get through then I heard I can buy a SIM card for 1 pund. GREAT I thought... but Im living in Denmark and cannot buy it. So I need help badly
I'll pay the 21 punds (1 for the SIM + 20 for the unlock code) it costs, but I guess I need a guy from England to call Orange and do the talk....
I know its alot to ask...

iv got an orange uk contract so i cud do it for u pal, but id want the money first, im a respected guy so theres nothing to worry about, it costs �20 and takes around 1 week to recieve the code by mail, e-mail me at [email][email protected][/email] if ur intrested, regards, biggzy.

Send a mail to Orange and ask! They must have a costumer service.

To call the customer service I need a orange phone number to get through to a person.. and the mails havent been answered
I see! You are in a dead-end. In that case, You have reason. You need an intermediate, between You and Orange. I can�t help You, I�m not in UK. Another one...
Hey Nimb. I'm in the exact situation as you. Bought N80 over e-bay, didn't know it was locked to Orange. I'm in Ireland where Orange don't operate. I've asked a friend in UK for an Orange SIM card, but still waiting. Will keep you posted if I have any luck.

As I stated in an earlier reply, I had the same problem as yourself. I got in contact with the eBay seller, the original owner, who very kindly got the Orange unlock code for me (it cost £20). It did take a few weeks, though. He then sent it on to me by e-mail and my phone is now unlocked and working.
Hi, You can unlock a Nokia N80 locked to Orange network through online itself. You can get the unlock code for a Nokia N80 from www.onlinegsmunlock.com/nokia-n80/rs7wp9/ at affordable cost.
Here are the steps for unlocking a Nokia N80,
1 - Switch on your Nokia N80 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia N80.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia N80 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!
