Updated: Nowire Teletext Viewer for 7650

Nowire has today released a new version (1.30) of the popular Nowire Smartphone Teletext product.

The new version includes the following new features:

- Localization. The product is now fully localizable. At the moment, the product supports English and Finnish. Additional language packs will be released later on as part of future product releases.

- Improved Menu structure. On the basis of the customer feedback, the menu structure is totally renewed. The new structure is easier and even more intuitive to use.

- Sub page management. Functionality of the sub page management has gone through some major modifications. New version of the product supports sub pages, which are numbered with two digits. Furthermore, the product automatically retries additional means for retrieving sub pages if the original sub page loading fails.

- Updated channels. The supported channels are updated and invalid channels are removed from the channels list. Currently, the product supports over 60 channels in 22 countries.

- Simplified registration. UPID code registration is removed, product now only supports IMEI code based registration of new customers. This was done in order to simplify the registration process.

- More robust. The application has gone through some restructuring and the error handling has been improved.

This update is completely free for the registered customers!

does anybody know how this works...? i mean the 7650 has no tv-receiver, so how does it get teletext data...?
