How to use Agile Messenger in E61

Hi friends,

I have a E61 and have just installed the Agile Messenger. Am not able to figure out how to use it without a manual - so the first question I have to any one who could help is - is there a manula for Agile Messenger? If there is, I believe I should be able to solve at least some of my queries below:-

1. Is there a cost for using the Agile Messenger?
2. How does one connect - it asks for various connections and whichever I select, the messenger does not open further but goes back to the folder where it is located?

Can someone help please? Thanks.

1. Besides paying for the app itself, there's a data traffic cost, if you use your mobile/cellular connection, instead of WLAN/WiFi. How much that is depends on whether your operator has set you up for a fixed fee or based on the amount of data you transfer.

2. For a mobile network connection, use your network operator's Internet Access Point (most seem to name it "Internet", too; at least if they're smart). WAP Access Points will not work for Agile.

Hi,
thanks at lot!

I presume the data traffic cost you have referred would be the one charged by my network operator. I am under a blackberry plan and I think I would not be charged anything.

Regarding the one-time cost, I have not understood fully how is it collected and how it is paid. I downloaded the messenger software and installed it but do not know what to do next. Do I register and pay at that moment. The agile site does not have anything to explain that.

For your third suggestion, let me see further. I have already tried out a few of them but somehow the application just closes as soon as I select the internet connection and click on connect.

Sigh. Hope you have further insights on this.

Thanks again!
