Problem with Adata Memory card and N70

I got my 1GB Adata MMC about 2 months ago from an Ebay seller from HK. Recently im experiencing some problems with it. After filling it with about 200MB of data (pics, mp3, and videos) one day out of the blues when I entered the phone's gallery I found that all my pics, etc where disappeared! I also tried to look for them from FFexplorer but nothing showed up but FFexplorer said that the card had 200MB of data in it! I also tried to read the card with my laptop which has an internal card reader and the same thing happened; 200MB of data in the card but nothing was showing!

So I formatted the card using my laptop and restored some of the data and installed it back in my N70. It now has about 118 MB of data in it most of them pics but im experiencing very very slow read speed of newly taken pics from the phone's gallery. Newly taken pics take more than 1min to appear as thumbnails. Even the gallery seems to be working very slowly.

When I tried using the 64MB MMC that was supplied with the phone and is almost full the gallery worked fine, even newly taken pics only take a few seconds to appear as thumbnails.

Do you think that there is a problem with my memory card ?

Hong Kong and ebay? You bought it from Flashman. I bought it too (1gb Adata from Hong Kong on ebay) and right now using it. Its NOT a good card. I have jerky video recording problem in my mmc.

NEVER, EVER, buy a MMC from EBAY inless you are 100% sure the seller is not selling counterfeits.

Try repacle for a fast card, and reliable card! See in forum, because have a lot of threads about the subject.

Yes I bought it from Flashman. So you think I got a FAKE Adata card ? cause I read a lot of good things about them and thats why I went for Adata! Anyone can point from where I can buy an Orginal Adata card or any other fast card ?

Thanks in advance/
