i recently upgraded from my 6630 to the n73 and im very impressed at how much more advanced this phone is, im really impressed in more ways than one.
however few questions you may know and be able to help me with. on my 6630 my wallpaper fitted exactly in the space provided with no white background or gaps showing round the edges of the image. does anyone know the correct dimensions needed to make my wallpaper fit on the whole space perfectly on the n73? this also applied to the contact card thumbnails, once again the old dimensions i used on my 6630 have a white space on the edge within the n73. what size do i need to make a perfect fit?
any help would make my day thank you
QVGA dimension - 320 x 240, same as screen!
thanks i found out a resolution of 400 x 441 worked perfect, no gaps. was wondering if you or anyone knew the best size for the contact thumbs?
Any square picture (e.g. 240 x 240) would fit the screen perfectly.
It's a shame when you want to use a picture you've taken with the camera though, because it leaves bars on the top and bottom.
You kind of need a PC to edit them first which is a lot of hastle if you want to suddenly change the wallpaper.
any updates to this info? I have both a Nokia N76 and Nokia N82 and would like to crop some profile pics out of those pictures. I also like to sync with my Mac's Contact books so if anyone has any good suggestions for a good picture size that would look good in all these devices, please post
Try searching for an app Theme DIY.. Just install in on your N73 and create a theme with your desired pic as its wallpaper..
