Slow Calendar function!!! ???

I had a Psion Revo years ago - 33mhz processor, right? It was extremely speedy...

I love my 9300. I've got Intellisync's Express Mail pushing changes to Outlook back and forth. I like the keyboard, love the wide screen.

But the calendar program is a total dog. If someone asks me what I'm doing next Wednesday it is painful to jump to that day, never mind add an appt. And my task list? I can read the newspaper while it loads...

Why can't a 190mhz processor do better? Switching apps is brilliantly fast...but adding a new task? Snooze.

I've tried WAYD, Bestday, Powerdesk - all the same or worse (I guess they're using the same db and maybe that is it).

Has anybody got suggestions for how to best deal with this?

I am only runnings a few apps at a time and the unit has always been this way...

I have deleted all my ToDo lists from Calendar and now use Projekt for these. I only use the Calendar for appointments and meetings and it seems a bit faster, but still not as good as my Psion 5mx.

Regards,
Martin

Wow - "not as good as a 5mx (or Revo)." What kind of bozo engineers do they have working at Nokia? Totally pathetic...

I have the 2gig moby memory, but problems exist. If I have video saved directly to the chip - crash. This goes for several other apps. Audio, etc. I have to write to phone, then later move files to memchip.

My experience... With the firmware of today, the communicator line dont work with 2Gb MMC cards. Sad...
