i just recently bought nokia n71 while browsing the cd software i notice one that said it could play mpeg files by installing windows media player but i couldnt make it install to my mobile phone...anyone have installed it...please teach me...nid help...thanks :icon14:

Microsoft's Windows Media Player has nothing to do with playing MPEG files on the phone. Note also that the N71 does not support playback of any Windows Media audio or video (WMA, WMV) format files.

The built-in video player on the N71 is RealPlayer.
There's a basic video converter for Windows in Nokia PC Suite (the Multimedia viewer app and its "Save As" function): http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite

I found the output from the Nokia Multimedia Converter was terrible.
After converting a 7Mb Avi file in Super it played back flawlessly on the N73, with no loss of quality. 😉
