When I try to back up my phone, it stops at 1% everytime, saying "connection to phone was lost".
my cable connection is to some extent unstable. but it happens even i use bluetooth connection.

This has been discussed in another thread, in short, upgrade to the August 2006 release of PC Suite, that has solved the problem for many of us.
