Is it possible to rotate N73's screen like E60's

It's more convenient in some situations when it's in landscape mode.

Not except for those situations where it is automatic and built-in to the app itself (Camera, Gallery).

Do you think a 3rd party application could add this function. I think that N73 with the bigger than usual screen would really benefit from browsing the web in landscape mode.

Maybe the app from E60 could work with N73 too?

Why not? IS possible. But if is for lose 6Mb of RAM like E70, is better not.
