Hi Everyone
am totally gutted now, i ordered my 3rd Replacement Nokia N91 handset from O2 Network...
the last 2 were faulty, the woman and 3 of her colleagues over 2 days told me that it HAS been discontinued from O2 Online!
i have chosen the Nokia N80 as its replacement as i couldnt think of anything else to have...
i obviously have 28 days to try it before i send it back!
is it good handset?
how does the Music Quality compare to my old N91 or current SE W810i ?
I am freaking out now because im hearing about BAD reception and freezing and switching off etc etc?
please put my mind at rest
Thanks

Dont panic too much...overall the N80 is a very good hi-spec phone, different people seem to be having different problems and I guess that is reflected in the different way that each person uses their phone.
I like it and dont have any problems apart from crap night and low light camera and poor battery life, but if you are able to charge the N80 every night, or dont mind carrying a spare battery then this is only a relatively small issue.
I am not a hi-fi expert but to me the N80 is good as a music phone, get a couple of 2GB mem cards and you are sorted with memory.
The sound quality is very good, and I guess if you upgrade the headphones and maybe pay for another player like xsound http://www.symbcode.com/
Then I think it will fullfill all your needs.
I never had bad reception myself, or the phone freezing, and another firmware release will be out soon which should correct many of the faults found over the last few months.
dont worry, Only afew people have problems with the phones. N80 is one of the best phones on the market and a big upgrade from the N91. Its either N80 or N93 for high end owners. Both help in giving you the connected lifestyle feeling :P
Nice place to get 2GB cards less than £18

personally i wouldn't get this as a music phone.
lack of stereo over bluetooth takes care of that for me.
was very dissapointed when i found out.
and having that headphone adapter hanging out the bottom is not exactly sleek

Sorry to hear that. Mine N91 is very relliable. Have some need to fix software bugs, but is just like all others S60 phones.

the problem with that is that you have to plug your headphone adapter into the phone, then plug a blootooth dongle into that, before it will connect with your headphones.
and that sort of ruins the point of having a multifunction phone is you have to carry a whole load of other junk around with you to use it.
i'd love to be able to put the phone in my pocket, slip on some headphones and listen to music while i work (i have an active job)

I understand that, but just thought it may be interesting for somebody,
but yet another "deliberate" design flaw of the N80...to force people to buy a phone that can do this stereo bluetooth.
