I backed up my 6260 a long time ago. it got sent away for a service, comes back, perfectly OK. Yes, they did upgrade the firmware (and replace the screen)
I use the camera, it's fine, if not better than before.'
I restore my (what used to be perfectly working) backup, turn the screen around, then the "camera" app heading displays, then quickly after, it goes back to my service provider's heading "Yes Optus".
Anyone know anything about this, how to fix it?

Maybe is not the same phone! When a backup doesn�t work well, the phone had been changed.:con?
It's the same phone, and the restored backup DOES work, but after restoring, the camera app stops working. :frown:

Keep the backup and try a soft format of phone. i know that it just arrive, but You can try. After that, do the restore.
Yes, I've done that three times, with all the different codes, it works before the backup but then after I've restored it .... Thanks again,
