instant messaging client for 9300i in the US

I am wondering if anyone knows of ANY IM client that i can use with the 9300i nokia. I need the client so i can communicate with my hearing impaired daughter while im traveling in the us and abroad? I hear that google is developing a downloadable client and tha blackberry also has one but i dont want to have to pay for it. Thanks.

looks like I answered my own question, but couldn't help but notice what a friendly website this was, probably many brits on it, was the words "UNITED STATES" that drove many people to respond to my thread, probably so but to those that CARE the site above has the multipurpos client so you can chat to your hearts content,
