I just has got my phone 2 days ago,well after 2 hours of fiddling with it I tried a hard reset (while not on the charger) and voila! DEAD phone.
Anyway the phone was great.The pictures look excellent(especially on PC),downloading pics to the pc via infra red was a breeze,the control of the phone was great and it played doom to boot.Simply it was everything I was reading about in this excellent forum.
now I told the guy who sold the phone to me that it was a malfunctioning phone so he gave me a refund.
I have a few more days to until the new one comes,when the idea of 3650 came to mind.
It has the greates aspects of the 7650 phone but:
1-Size of the phone sucks
2-The shape of the phone is too childish to my taste
now will the 3650 make you sell your 7650 in a heart beat?The size of the 7650 didn't even bother me.
About the memory limitation,Will I be using the 3650 as a full fledged phone?no.so will it bother me with the 7650?
simply put should I get a 7650?I am getting it brand new for 450 u.s.$

I would not buy 3650 because of the keypad. I will wait for the next model
that replaces 7650.

i have also done a hard reset like u (i did with 1 bar battery) but luckily nothing happend to mine but now i know not to do it with low battery again to be on the safe side.
i'd stick with the 7650 as u said u don't like the size and looks of the 3650.
i also agree, i prefer the corporate looks of the 7650.
though i disagree with you about the picture quality, as i don't think it is that good on pc, but nothing photoshop can't touch up.
The 3650 is a youth phone. Which usually means funky design and not so many features. Well I cant say that the 3650 hasnt any features, maybe more than the 7650, but the design is just not for me! Maybe if I was like 8 years junger...
Anyways, I say stick with the one you have, although it comes down to what you want from your phone! The 7650 is lookswise the best choice, but the 3650 is better in the hardware side.

Don't you think that the 7650, when closed, looks like an ordinary PDA? The best part is, you don't have to scribble to write notes. You can just type in the letters.
First time I've seen the 3650, man, I said, who's gonna buy this phone. If you want, just wait for the 6650. Then again, it looks like a phone and not a PDA.

It is noteworthy that not a single comment agreeing/liking the looks of 3650 has come forth so far. (Except Nokia itself ..ofcourse). Funtionality is on par with 7650 as we know, but then, Beauty is not just skin deep when it comes to mobile phones. Afterall, I dont want to close my eyes when using the splending applications on there!!
Nokia is smart actually. Did you guys ever noticed ? The 8xxx series are bloody beautiful and cool but lack in features-wise. People are actually paying for the design and not the features. Heck, I actually gotten myself a N8850 Gold before. My point is so far I have not seen any phone with beauty and function in one (obviously the 3650 is an algae eater fish replica). If I were the original poster of this thread, I would get a P800 or at least what Jyrik said, wait for the 7650 replacement (The 3650 isn't a replacement since it's targeted at a significantly different market from the N7650). Just my three cents (a cent extra 😉).

Yes the p800 look superior but software is everything.I remember when the first playstation came out there were systems far superior hardware wise but they all got dropped out because the playstation had better software.
The software market for the 7650 has established and going strong.the p800 isn't even sold yet.
I thnk eventually somebody will find a way to expand the 7650's memory via infra red so have made the choice to buy another one in 2 weeks.(unless the 7650i comes out :roll: )

At last someone says what I am saying! Software is everything...although there will be some application for the P800 it will be nothing compared to the ones for Sereis 60. Now with other manufacturers licensing the platform there will be even more.
I have to disagree with the IR expansion etc. Its worhless anyways. We will probably have to buy another phone!

Well its something like that! The N-Gage device is more of a game console rather then a phone and a phone rather than a game console too. The way NOkia and other phone manufacturers go, we soon wont be able to distinguish a phone from a pda or from a game console! 😃
