please help my phone hangs for some time when messaged !!

my phone hangs for 30sec when messaged !! it bugs me a lot.. please suggest what to do... any one ... if any one faced a similar problem and have fixed it.. please let me know too

From before

g) SMS starting to get sluggish? - I found this in an N80 forum. Enter *#7370# (lock codee 12345) and this cleans up the phone memory BEFORE you do this backup your phone memory (not just the HDD) using PC suite so you can still play the DRM stuff (Live8! or any ringtone you bought etc)

Wich is your software version? If is the first one, 1.00.xx, are enouth problems with that. So do an upgrade, if possible! Seems that the new ones have better behavior.
