The title says it all... I wasn't able to do that. The real media links download, then it just says it is not able to play. If I download them PC and copy to miniSD, I can play them, but without video, just the sound (these are pretty small videos, although I'm not sure about the resolution. Couldn't even find a way to download the .rm from the browser, had to do it via PC.
As for copying text from web page - is there a way?

For your video streaming problem, i have no idea.
About the text copying issue, unfortunately, no this isn't possible.
This is by the way one of the things that really bugs me with the S60 UI: even though copy and paste functionalities are implemented at the OS level and supported in the same way in all the applications (which is a very good thing), you can only copy text in edit fields. Which means that you can't copy text from web pages, SMS, emails (unless you first choose "Reply" then copy from the quoted text in the reply then delete your reply then paste the copied text then manually remove the quote marks😡 )... Guys at symbian and Nokia, you really have to do something about that!
Ok. So even the Opera Mobile for E70 (when they release it) will not cure this. Shame. Pretty often one would need to copy something from as web page...
Even worse - try and phone a phone number that you find on a web site....
1)firstly you cannot copy the number. You have no option for auto-finding it either. You have to memorise it. So you flip between the notepad and the browser remembering three or four numbers at a time
2)now you try and paste the number into the dialer after copying It for notepad, but oops, pasting is also not supported. You HAVE to create a new contact. THEN you can dial... Very cumbersome. Bring back S80! (with 3g and faster processor of course 😉
I totally agree, I use two phones a 9300 and a E70. In someways the E70 is soo much better (much faster web browsing now that the screen orientation RAM issue is fixed) and far better general usage and multimedia experience.
But honestly the contacts system in the s80 Communicators is light years ahead of everything else in the market and S60 Contacts system is just not comparable or good enough for a business device- even the <shudder> UIQ interface is now better. And the last s80 release was fantastic for being able to copy and paste from pretty much any application under the sun; it felt like a small laptop. The E70 is more like a smrt phone.
I also can't get the Blackberry sis to work with my E70.
