As we all know, the E70 alarm clock lacks repeat daily/working days option. Is there a free/cheap alarm clock program somewhere? The ones I've found (HandyClock etc) have all the (unnecessary) bells and whistles and are quite costly for something so simple...
Large clock screen saver could also come in handy. The Nokia default shows the clock reading, but in rather tiny font.
And a auto key lock. http://fuse.stc.cx/autolock/ is great, but preferably it should lock keys when the qwerty keyboard is open.
And a tetris for s60v3.
Thanks for any links.
For S60 v3, I dont remenber none. Only, no free, Handyclock!

Handy Alarm is a cut down version of Handy Clock that's cheaper (but still not exactly cheap) and that contains just just the alarm section. I don't think that there is any other alternative yet (i just can't understand why such a basic and easy to implement feature that so many "dumb" phones have has been left out these high-end "smart" phones).

Handy Clock comes with a screen saver with a larger clock (and a calendar which to my suprise poved to be quite useful). I don't know whether or not Handy Alarm has it also.

Dunno.

No Tetris yet as far as i know but if you're looking for simple games to kill time, check out Mau Mau and Magi-Lines. From the same authors as Magi-Lines, there's also Checkers and Chess if that's your thing.
Ok, thanks. I already installed trial of Handy Alarm, and it seems to do what I need. Not exactly cheap for such trivial functionality (that, as you said, should be part of the basic feature set of the phone).
I hope they port S-Tris (S60 tetris) to v3 soon...
I have the following problem. The Handy Clock's Calendar Screen Saver works only once after I switch the phone on. If I use the phone, then the regular "Date and Time" screen saver appears although the Theme's settings show "Calendar". I need to restart the phone or go into the settings and change the "Calendar" to something else and then back to "Calendar'. Still the "Calendar" screen saver again works only once. Does anyone else have the same problem?
P.S. I have Nokia E60

Won't help but the Calendar screensaver works fine on my E61 and doesn't exhibit this problem.
My experience with Handy Clock is that the screensaver clock is nice but this application drain the battery very fast. I had to charge once each 24h. After I discovered this (after several weeks! 😡 ) and uninstalled my battery works at least 3-5 days (E70). It may run OK if you don't use the screensaver.
I used it 4-5months ago. They may have corrected this in a new version.
How about Y-Alarms from www.drjukka.com ?
