I have just ordered a N80 from 3 its coming friday what i want to no is what Firmware will be on it and if i need to update it were should i look for a how to?

Should be the latest unless they keep a lot of stock. Either way the Nokia software update tool will do noubt support the N80 in a week or two so just wait and use that, unless you MUST have it straight away in which case there's plenty of posts in the V4 Firmware thread about how to update

You can check the firmware by typing *#0000#
The new firmware is - V 4.0623.0.41
If it displays V3... then you need to get in touch with them or attempt to upgrade it yourself.
Seems that next week is possible to use the Nokia Software Updater, also for N80. Is on 14 days trial...
n80's on the three network come with v3.0618.0.2 dated 23-05-06
was told by NSC that this is the latest version of three firmware and to upgrade to new version would cost me �20 and would void my warrenty with three..
I got my phone and there nothing wrong with it its on the software version that the person up abit said not the new 1.
Id like to ask is there away to stream the music from pc to the phone so it plays out of the phone without it being on your mem card?
also im tryin to instill themes that i got off a website that said they were for the N80 i downloaded about 5 and they all will not instill it just says unsupported format there in sis format is this right?

yes os 9.1 uses sis and sisx format, altho they must be made foe 9.1 or they wnt work
