cannot read .sis file

Hello everyone.

I am new to this forum and to 6600 as well.
I have copied .sis files to my fone's memory card through a card reader. if i copy other files like .wav and .jpg, it is just fine but when i copy .sis files, my fone cannot read it. it does not appear in the folder i copied it to when i go the "Gallery". the .sis files are screensavers and other such software.

i hope anyone can help me with this and any help would be much appreciated.

can anyone help me with this please

i tried downloading .sis files for themes, etc and placed it in the Others folder in my memory card
when i open that folder in my fone, there are no files that can be found.
but when i view the files in my pc, it is there :frown: :con?

If the files have the attributes hidden or system, you cannot view them in Gallery or File manager. Use FExplorer for this and try again.

nope. i checked the files' attributes in my pc.
they're not hidden.

what is FExplorer?

i can't install files in my fone because it does not detect sis files :frown:

i downloaded FExplorer on my pc and then copied it on my memory card through a card reader and as usual since it comes with a .sis file extension, my phone cannot read it....

somebody please help me
