PDA Essentials issue 52 is now at newstands across the UK, with a group test of 'Blackberry killers', in which the Nokia E61 was pronounced 'a clear winner'. There's also a guide for users of other mobile OS for migrating everything to S60, plus a full review of the UIQ 3 Sony Ericsson M600i, with the verdict 'Superb as a mobile email handset'.

The E61 is great, the only major improvement might be a touchscreen.

You have to buy the magazine! That's why they write articles like this... 😊

i agree the phone is great but some how i find the joystick very hard

I noticed on the PDA Essentials website that the E61 pictured seems to have a MP3 player on the screen that shows album art. There's also a set of headphones pictured... (I live in the US, so don't have access to the magazine) Anyone know what the app is? How about the headphones? :con? I've been looking for an MP3 player for the e61 that shows album art...

PDA Essentials, like most commercial magazines, have layout artists who basically feel free to put any screenshot on any device. 8-(

This can be very misleading at times!!

If you buy an adapter (about $15 to $20), you can use any standard set of headphones, not just phone ones.

umm... think this is the Lonely Cat Games jukebox program. Adds heaps of extra functionality to audio. Especially useful are the fine controls on fwd-rwd, equalizer and volume. Streams radio and web access searches & displays album art.
