7 replies · 3,591 views · Started 04 December 2002

PSILoc have released a new version of the application Space Doubler. It now compresses more areas of the phone like attachements and files created by Java applications. There is also a new option to compress/decompress all applications.

Author notes:

What's new:

- ability to compress Java applications added (because .jar files are already compressed, only additional data files created by Java apps can be compressed)

- ability to compress messages added (due to security reasons, only attachments can be compressed)

- decompressing/compressing Java apps and messages are fully automatic

- the ability to compress/decompress all applications.

- memory info added

- other minor changes

I see that there is also an option that can tell you how much space you saved. Mine says 789kb. Which is quite a lot for a couple of applications 😊

Where do you find the last version 0.99, on the site of PSILOC, there only 0.98B version ?????

Its on the way, if you read the first post you'll see a note about it being up in a hour. I've juste cheched and the new version is now there.

Read the first post, It said that in one hour it will be available.
And now that hour has passed its there:

And it 0.99B

The new features looks great. Is it safe to install the new version without unpacking first all packed applications? (Not enough space to unpack everything 😊)
