You are going to find out really soon.....(Admin/Mod talk :P) Hehehehe
Why do you like the 3650?
Not again,Dang it! 😃 😃 😃
I'll try to share my thoughts on my next phone (btw, currently the 3650 has the lead):
I considered PocketPC phone edition, but although I like Windows on my desktop, WindowsCE simply sucks. No way to get me buy one of those if there are Symbian-phones.
I really like PalmOS as PDA-OS (and my next phone has to be PDA/cellphone combo), but I played around with a treo and the cellphone-part is pretty poor.
I highly favored the P800 for some months. I wouldn't mind it's price, but I don't like that flip that directly touches the screen (imho it didn't work out on the R380 or-whatever-it's-name-was), so I wouldn't use it, and a phone with touchscreen and no keypad is imho disfunctional (another point against PPC phone, too). Furthermore there's more software out for Series 60 and a lot of people own a 7650, so it's more attractive for developers I think.
I also considered the 7650, but it simply lacks memory and software. Sure, I can purchase Webviewer instead of that XHTML-browser, but that's extra-cash and the phone is more expensive anyway though it's poorer featureset. Add in RealOne player and you pay much more money for weaker featureset and 2MB RAM or so.
Since I'm a tech-geek rather than a fashion-victim, I'll go with the 3650 (and save serious cash additionally), but if Nokia announces 7650-successor before 3650s launch, I would go with that one, even if it's more expensive (let's say up to 250 price difference would be tolerable).
i am currently looking to replace my mobile having used the 6210 for over 18 months and never had ONE problem with it!
i've looked at the 7650 and the P800 so far but now am looking at the 3650. i really had to decide what i wanted out of the phones. my view is that the 7650 and P800 are more business style phones, closer to the 9210 and PDAs. I feel the 3650 is more of a 'fun' phone being aimed at 18-30 year olds.
i've seen a demo of the 7650 and heard about the P800 from someone who has seen and tested it but i am waiting for the 3650 before i buy! it's a different design but i like it - something new and different.

So basicly your waiting for the 7650i?, it's more or less the same as the 3650, but better looking with a few more features..........That's the baby...can't comment on price though 😉
one thing i don't like about the 7650 is the slide down keypad thingy. while i like the idea of it protecting the camera i think it looks big and chunky and i ain't a bit fan. other than that i like the look of the 7650 (when the slide down is closed). i've not seen the 3650 in the flesh but from pictures of it i like the general look. number pad is different but i feel easily adaptable to.
what features these be? same form factor i presume...
i think its a funny phone only the keypad sucks but you have a big display. i had the 6310 and that display sucked big time
its a little to long i think
and about that dildo thing that is absurd TO BIG FOR ME 😃 😃 😃
i think the keyboard is not bad. it's just that ALL other mobiles use the same design. remember that ALL telephones use to use the same design. i think it needs a test run. i don't plan to buy it without firstly testing it for dialing and texting.
the keypad is just different - people are often scared of things that are different :x-mas:
Euan, would you buy a keyboard with a layout other then qwerty or dvorak? I dont think so,why reinvent the wheel,it works fine as it is now.And about the price of the 7650i.It should be around 600 euros if the rumours about the p800 are true(600 euros, simfree),then again, this is Nokia we are talking about,so be ready for astronomical prices.
but i ain't looking for a PDA - i am looking for something for some fun and as a phone. i use the keypad for txting and dialling numbers, a different layout ain't going to change my life.
prices i was quote by phones4u for the P800 on contact, 250-280.
as i said, i will try it out first - i may totally wrong - it may be shift 4 typing but as for looks, i don't mind it.
