Hey everyone! I'm totally stoked about Nokia releasing the Firmware updater for their phones. Fortunately my N70 was supported and as I had one of the first N70s my FW was at 2.x. It never caused me a single problem. Only thing is that the Gallery (just the app) would take 6 seconds to launch. :frown: Anyway, I just updated my phone to 5.06 but there are a few quirks now. I actually thing my 2.x firmware was better.
While in a call, if I have to enter any numbers (i.e. extensions) my right softkey changes to Video Call. When that happens I no longer have the back button that would clear the number input. Now, that doesn't seem to be a big deal, but once a number is input into the phone during a call, I can't change the volume. To change the volume, I have to cleat the numbers one by one with clear until they are gone. Only then can I adjust the volume. Can I change the video call function? I can't use it here in the U.S. anyway. Also, this forces me to go to Loudspeaker from a different menu versus the right softkey.
There are a few quirks with themes and such but nothing too extreme. I may be picky or nurotic, but this effects how my phone works for me everyday. Any thoughts? Or do I wait til the next update? :con?
