N80 Video Quality - Your thoughts

Guys,

Unlike a lot of threads on this forum i am very happy with all aspects of my N80 apart from ther video quality.

Previously having a 6600 followed by 6680 both had decent quality video for what mega pixel the camera was so when i found out the N80 had a 3meg camera i creamed myself at the thought of the potential video quality.

Frankly im quite dissapointed.

Dont get me wrong the quality is pretty good but nowhere near as good as i thought it would be.

A friend of mine has an N70 and another has a samsung D500 both with 2 meg cameras and they both have far better video quality than my N80 both seem more sharp and defined.

Can anybody explain this.

Ive fiddled with the video settings but there are no significant improvements.

Does anyone else share my thoughts or is it just me?

i too have messed around with the video settings, and find the quality lower than i was expecting. I tend to find the image is very grainy, worse still in low light conditions, I read somewhere that even though it has a 3MP camera lens its how the chip interprets the data that makes the image a area the N80 seems to be a little lacking..
