Does anyone else find it annoying that music/speech or video can not be fast forwarded or rewound to reach a particular spot? maybe a future firmware upgrade may resolve or installation of a separate music/video player.

Music Player Fast Forward?
I used to be able to forward/rewind the music with the music player by pressing and holding the next/last track key with the old firmware. Now after updating it to the newer version it doesn't work! The track goes on "pause" and I won't play anymore.

That's strange. It works fine on my N80 (v4 firmware).
But there really should be a fast-forward feature in the video player, too.
Hey.. Thanks guys. I can fast forward and rewind fine in the music player now but how can I tell which firmware version I have?

there is....you have to view the video via 'all files' and not through the 'images and video' option in gallery, open a video and hold up to FF

thanks, that seems to work... But now that I tried it, it also works when used through images and videos... Guess that it was fixed in v4.
