I posted 2 threads regarding the Nokia E60 I had and its inability to connect to my car kit (every other none Symbian phone does) - and got no replys on the forum.
I find it incredible that a site dedicated to Symbian, and a particular forum dedicated to the version in the Nokia E60, produced no replys! Meanwhile all kinds of geeky (and largely useless) stuff is discussed add nauseum, when something as important as Bluetooth connection to a hands free car kit draws no response!
The fundamentals should be sorted first - then fiddle around with bizare, essoteric applications!
The others dont have any abligation to answer to You... And for You a Bluetooth car kit is important, for me, for example, it isnt, so calm Your self! Now your problem... Do You have any other bluetooth device paired with Your E60? Works OK? Do already have try paired again the both devices?

The general consensus on this forum is to only answer if you actually have an answer to provide. There is very little noise here. So it seems, unfortunately for you, that nobody on this board has had enough experience yet with this kind of setup to be able to answer your question. Keep in mind that this is august too and that many people are away from their PC during this period of the year.
As to what a fundamental problem is and what a "geeky and useless stuff" is, it obviously depends on the user. Personally, i couldn't care less about bluetooth car kits (i haven't got a car and even if i had one, i'd never use these hands-free gadgets since you obviously can't have your full attention on the road while talking on the phone, even with a hands-free system) and this really is "geeky and useless stuff" to me.
Concerning your car kit problem, the problem might come from a bug in the firmware. The N80 had serious problems with bluetooth which have been solved with the latest firmware upgrade. So, if nothing else works, your best bet would be to wait for the next firmware update for your E60. You can also send an official feedback to Nokia (i forgot the link but it shouldn't to hard to find) to let them know about this problem.
