And how about UIQ3 (to save me reposting in that forum)? My P900 doesn't support them which is a major oversite / design decision by SE.
Huge apologies if this has been covered elsewhere - the search is indeed my friend but my friend didn't come up with an answer on this occasion

I can't speak for all S60 phones but the two that I have owned - E61 and 6682 - both support this.
Many thanks - the e61 is the one I'm interested in as it happens...

Paddy,
I did not fully engage my brain before submitting the previous answer.
I don't use the built-in calendar for creating events I use Outlook to manage my calendar and then sync with PC Suite. My all day repeating events show up in the built-in calendar as indivdual "memos".
I just tried to create a repeating all day event in the calendar on the phone and it is not easily done. You can create a meeting that runs from 00:00 to 23:59 and set it up as repeating but I suspect that is probably not what you were looking for. You can create a "memo" that is an all day event but there is no repeating option.
There are some 3rd party calendar tools like Papyrus that do support this feature. Papyrus for the E61 is in beta but should be released in the very near future.

Oh that's a shame - it's my single biggest gripe with the P900 and I wanted to regain the functionality when I came to upgrade. I think UIQ3 supports it but I've not seen it explicitely stated. The 9300i definitely supports it but of course is slightly older technology. Humph - have to read some more m600/P990 reviews I guess... thanks for the info 😊
