any one else experienced this

Nope. My N80 plays mp3 very well. They show up in the library correctly with correct tag info and play in the order of the play list, without any interferance from the radio.

Perhaps you should check your MP3's - I think you'll find you've downloaded and added one that has been ripped from the radio ?

lol, no sorry these are ones that are on my ipod too , they are porper rips off cds, and its def the radio as its allways the last radio station i was listening to

I have no problems either with my mp3 player. Maybe you have started the radio so it's on and then you start the mp3 player at the same time and it mutes down the radio when there is music from the mp3 player. So you hear the music in the pauses. I haven't experienced it myself, so I'm just guessing.

Are you on the latest V4 FW?

Did you Flash the FW yourself?

Did you format the N80 after flashing? (*#7370#)

Several forum users have experienced weird errors after flashing to V4 which was cured after a format. Obviously formatting deletes all contacts and self installed apps so please back them up first.

no i didnt format but after id updated firmware there was nothing left ont he fone , (contacts etc).

i`ll remember that for next time i reflash it
