N80 V 4.0623.0.41 & iSync

uninstall nokia connection program and drivers. On windiws running CCcleaner does alot of good.

Removing and reinstalling the device doesn't help. Anyone has the same problem?

I use the plugin from novamedia.de for iSync. Apple iSync has no native support for N80 of course. When I upgraded from v 3 to 4 on my phone, I had no problems at all. It worked immidiately. Only that this time, there was no bluetooth bug, so there were no interruptions while transmitting the contact info. Nice!

Had the same sync issue.
Formatting with *#7370# solved the problem and my N80 works again with iSync. (Don't forget to back up!)

Just to confirm... you're using the v4 firmware? Which version of iSync are you using (or, which version of OS X are you using)? Are you using the novomedia plugin?

I'd hate to get the thing flashed to v4 and then find I can't use iSync.

In the same situation with no sync and willing to hard format the phone after V4 apgrade but do you mean back up with the phoenix? as without sync working there isn't any other way is it? thanks

You can backup phone memory to (and restore from) the memory card.

hi thanks for the hint... I browsed all my phone but could not find any app that could do backup. is this from a 3rd party or does it comes with the phone? your help is much appreciated.

menu->tools->memory->options->backup phone mem.
