Symbian web browser

The opera browser did happen and is working. However, it is more for the 3650 since it takes a lot of space. It fits in the 7650 but not much will fit after that!

I saw it on an Video on the net. I also think that the link was in this forum. However, there was a guy from Opera and he had a 7650 a P800 and an XDA! He showed the browser on all three devices, But he prefered to review it on the P800 for obvious reasons (big screen and memory).

So this is confirmed? That the 3650 will have an implemented Opera browser, and that it really will be possible to get it for the 7650 as well?
And you wouldn't happen to know around how much space this Opera browser requires would you?

I dont know about the 3650 and I also dont know about the space. They didnt say although he was asked in which handsets it will be. However I saw it on an official presentation in a 7650 so it should be working. But it would be unusable since by browsing there are pictures and data downlaaded. Its more for a Series 60 with a MMC.

I've seen some photos from a guy that has the pre-commercial P800 and it's web-browser seems amazing!! Would this happen to be the Opera browser or some other especially made for the P800?

I have heared that the P800 will have this browser. But this is by far not official. Just rumors.

OK, thanks a lot guys. Guess the Opera browser isn't a good idea for the 7650 then, and there's no way in he!! I'll be getting the 3650! 😃
I've been considering getting the P800 when it (finally) gets out. But I'm also curious as to what's gonna be Nokia's respons to it. A new communicator smaller and lighter than the 9210 with GPRS perhaps....???
