Camera question

Good day Guys and Gals

Sorry if i am asking something which may have been asked before.

My other half has just taken receipt of a new N80, she loves it apart from the really bad battery life and the camera

Can anyone tell me how to reduce the time taken from pressing the capture button to take a photo to the phone actually taking the picture???

Sometimes she tries to take a picture of our ickle one but unless he is asleep it will always come out blurred????

Anyone got any ideas, thanks for your time

The delay is a firmware issue. Try upgrade the phone, maybe it stay better, if it doesnt have already the last SW.

Cheers for that, what is the latest version for the N80 and where is it available from, i cannot see it on the Nokia support page,

Also someone mentioned changing the shooting mode, any ideas where i can change this, i have looked through a few menus and not found it.

Last one : RM-92 V 3.0618.0.2

Upgrade now, only on a Nokia Service Point. Seems, then, more some days, at your home, with Nokia Software Updater tool.
Shooting mode, is on Camera menus...

Smaller res photos are also taken a lot faster. If you put the camera into Sports mode you only get 1.3MPixel Shots but the speed and size difference should reduce your blur issues.

Cheers for that Elaverick, where can i find sports mode, can you talk me through the menu as i need to contact my sister over the phone to talk her through it as she is the owner and not me

Nice one mate
